Born and raised in bustling NYC, I was attracted to the inner calm I felt when my high school PE teacher introduced yoga. During college, I enjoyed the physical challenge and emotional balancing I experienced in Ashtanga classes. 

After college, my interest in East Asian culture took me to Japan, where I worked as an English teacher and studied Japanese.

Yoga remained a hobby until I completed my Masters in International Studies in 2009, leaving both my body and mind bloated and tense. At that point, I delved into my gentle yoga practice, and found joy, energy, and an open heart. My physical and mental transformation inspired me to complete a Hatha yoga teacher training in Japan in 2011 so that I could share yoga with others.

Since then, I have practiced, trained in, and taught a variety of yoga styles including vinyasa, prenatal, acrovinyasa, and raja yoga, all of which have influenced my practice and my life. 

I moved to Georgia in April of 2016 for love, and luckily found a yoga community in Midtown where I can practice and teach. Currently pregnant, it is my great pleasure and honor to be able to share the gifts of yoga with pregnant women, by creating supportive space to strengthen our bodies and minds for pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
