Jessica Taylor’s passion for yoga wasn’t found until a bit later in life. She wasn’t an athlete or movement practitioner growing up and had settled into her career as a pharmacist. She had all the creature comforts, but still felt as if something was lacking. When she discovered the practice of yoga, she realized what it was. Passion. The creative side and zest for life that had slowly dimmed since childhood was reawakened. She discovered that yoga not only allowed her and her students to get stronger physically, but along with that came a greater emotional and mental resolve. She offers challenging practices, whether physically or emotionally and mentally by inviting in an exploration of vulnerability and truth. She holds space for her students to explore, play, pay attention and to discover themselves through laughter, sweat, tears, and a constant mindful, inward journey. She believes there are so many lessons we can take from our yoga practice that benefit us off our mat in the practice of life and it has a great power to transform. Be prepared to be challenged to move and think in different ways, but above all, be empowered to take the journey to explore and Be You. To forever be a student. It’s never too late and she can attest to that.
Jessica went through her first 200 hour training in an Ashtanga-Vinyasa based system. Since then she has completed her 300 hour training with One Movement Yoga and Dylan Werner finishing her 500 hour certification, 500 hour Budokon training with Cameron Shayne, Yin training with Bernie Clark as well as SkyYoga Aerial Training with Acacia Jade amongst others.
She founded Taylored For You Yoga, LLC in 2017 and enjoys being based out of Atlanta, but also has an immense love for traveling, hosting retreats around the world, and teaching at festivals like Dirty South Yoga Fest and Wanderlust.
